About this book
Get your mahj on with the Art of Mahjong 2027 Wall Calendar showcasing stylized photos of contemporary and vintage tile sets as curated by collector, historian, and mahjong set designer Katherine Hartman. No matter which game variation you play –– National Mah Jongg League's American mahjong, Chinese mah-jongg, Japanese riichi, Australian rules, or other mahhj versions –– this wall calendar delights as it transports you to game night, where stresses melt away, friendships flourish, and order is created from the chaos of randomly drawn tiles. Each month presents a unique set along with a brief description or fascinating backstory. Features include:
- Dimensions: 12" x 12" (12" x 24" open)
- Date Range: 12-month calendar spanning January–December 2027
- WE PLANT TREES to help offset our carbon footprint and resource usage — more than 1.25 MILLION and growing!
- NO SINGLE-USE PLASTIC — We have eliminated single-use shrink wrap to reduce plastic pollution
- RESPONSIBLY SOURCED — Our paper is responsibly sourced from a combination of recycled materials and wood harvested from socially and environmentally sustainable forests and is FSC certified
Enjoy a year of beautiful tiles, rich history, and mahjong inspiration.
