About this book
For nature enthusiasts, art lovers, and mindfulness practitioners alike, these dreamlike paintings and insightful quotations by contemporary Cuban artist Tomás Sánchez offer creative inspiration, restorative relaxation, and transportive appreciation. Gathered in a wall calendar for the first time, the soulful and hyper-detailed jungle paintings of contemporary Cuban artist Tomás Sánchez transport the viewer to dreamlike glades, mysterious riverbanks, and silent islands, where it's impossible not to feel stress and strife melt away on the sound of wind through leaves or the rush of water. This bilingual English/Spanish calendar presents twelve of Sánchez’s most popular works paired with quotes from the artist about meditation. Features include:
- 12" x 12" (12" x 24" open)
- Planning spread for September–December 2026
- Spans January–December 2027
- Generous grid space for notes, appointments, and reminders
- Official major world holidays and observances
- Moon phases, based on Universal Time
- Twelve hyperreal paintings plus meditation-themed quotes
- English and Spanish for major calendar elements and artist quotes
- Wall art for your home, school, or office that provides a sense of time for planning and dreaming
- WE PLANT TREES to help offset our carbon footprint and resource usage — more than 1.25 MILLION and growing!
